Madonna and Child is a painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Filippo Lippi.The date in which it was executed is unknown, but most art historians agree that it was between 1450 and 1465.

This art work's subject is about love that is tempera on panel. I can see a mother, a baby, two angles and a landscape painting on the wall.In this painting, I feel that the artist is trying to express more of the relationship between the mother and the child. The mother seems to be praying for her child to come to her quickly, and the angel is helping to send the child to the mother's arms.

It is a organic shape and the artist used different lines to outline the figures. In addition, the artist used different colors on the clothes of the characters, he used white for the angle and blue for the mother. On the mother's face, he used tint to make her more vivid.
