 My experience painting the Harold Washington mural

This was my first time painting a mural, and I was very excited. I was assigned to color in the details. Originally, I thought that coloring would be a very simple thing, and I would finish it quickly. In fact, I had to apply it several times to get the color perfect. I didn't finish the part I was responsible for until after class. 

I really enjoy the feeling of putting my heart and soul into painting. At that time, I felt like I am a famous painter. Thanks to my partner fenny, she had been with me to finish  even after class. I had a very pleasant experience. Hope to have more new experiences like this.

Love Madonna and Child Madonna and Child is a painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Filippo Lippi.The date in which it was executed is unknown, but most art historians agree that it was between 1450 and 1465. This art work's subject is about love that is tempera on panel. I can see a mother, a baby, two angles and a landscape painting on the wall.In this painting, I feel that the artist is trying to express more of the relationship between the mother and the child. The mother seems to be praying for her child to come to her quickly, and the angel is helping to send the child to the mother's arms. It is a organic shape and the artist used different lines to outline the figures. In addition, the artist used different colors on the clothes of the characters, he used white for the angle and blue for the mother. On the mother's face, he used tint to make her more vivid.

 Color My favorite color is blue. 💙 The color of the sea is blue, the color of the sky is also blue. Every time I see blue, I feel so comfortable and relaxed. I have always longed to live near a beach or the ocean because I really like to wake up and open the window can see such a blue view. This colorful image is what I like. It has a good color match, just like a rainbow. 🌈 It uses light color and does not make me feel a strong visual impact, but rather it makes me comfortable.
